Dr. Macdonald holds a dual appointment at the Keck School of Medicine in the departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Surgery. She joined the Keck faculty in 2006 after completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her Breast Surgery fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center. Since joining the Keck faculty, Dr. Macdonald has practiced both breast surgery and gynecology at the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She serves as a clinician in the Lynn Cohen Clinic for women at high risk for inherited breast and ovarian cancer. Dr. Macdonald also serves as the Director of the Women's Breast Diagnostic Center at LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Macdonald has a passion for medical education. She has developed case based curriculum for medical student education in breast disease including cancer. She currently serves as the Associate Director for Residency training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also enjoys training Breast Surgery fellows as faculty in the Division of Surgical Oncology.
