About Hematology

Hematology is the study of the diseases of the blood, bone marrow and the lymphatic and other related systems. Common hematologic disorders include non-malignant maladies such as anemia and hemophilia and cancers such as myeloma and lymphoma.

The Hematology Center at USC Norris Cancer Hospital is dedicated to the research and treatment of these and other hematologic disorders, both common and rare. We are also known for our Bone Marrow Transplant Program and for our treatment of various leukemias.

Additionally, through our affiliation with the renowned USC Keck School of Medicine, the Hematology Center may also provide you with access to clinical trials or other innovative and promising therapies that may not be available at other hospitals.
